The Brotherhood and Sisterhood Awards Dinner is known as Birmingham’s most prestigious recognition for leaders with a proven track record of encouraging a stronger, more inclusive community for Birmingham’s diverse population.

Founded in 1969, the Brotherhood and Sisterhood Awards is a bi-annual event that honors community, civic and corporate leaders who are shaping the future of Alabama.

​

Proceeds from this Dinner provide a direct benefit to Anytown Alabama, a program that ensures that Birmingham’s children – from all walks of life – learn how to be intentional about building an equitable and fair community. Anytown Alabama began in 1989 and has graduated more than 2,000 students ready to impact their community.
